Alonissos offers a great variety of beaches that can satisfy everyone. In Alonissos you can find organized to secluded beaches, beaches where you can get there only by sea, and pebbled or sandy ones.
The biggest and organized beaches are located in the southern side of the island, where in most of them you can get there by paved roads. There, you can find taverns, sun beds and umbrellas where you can enjoy your day in the island.
If you like sandy beaches, then Chrissi Milia and Tzortzi Gialos would be ideal for a day in the sun.
The most famous and mostly photographed beaches are Kokkinokastro and Agios Demetrius. In Agios Demetrius beach you can also find inflatable sea toys.
If you like good food, then Leftos Gialos and Megalos Mourtias are two beaches where you will certainly enjoy a good meal. Alternatively, Vythisma and Mikros Mourtias, as well as all beaches on the northern side of the island, are ideal if you prefer some piece and quiet. This means that there are no taverns or any tourist buses arriving at these locations.
